Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below only shows reserved time periods and not confirmed exams. It is important to confirm with your teacher whether or not the final exam for the course will be conducted during this time.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Please refer to the exam pages for more details about exam topics, exam conditions and conditions, as well as additional guidelines. Registration

The exam schedule is available on the internet, and students are advised to review it. It is important to note that the schedule for exams can change at any time. Students should therefore consult their instructors to confirm the correct time and date of their test. Students should also print out the official list to bring to their exam.

Students should also familiarize themselves with the rules and conditions of the exam, in addition to the exam schedule. These are on the page for each exam. Students acknowledge they have read and accepted the terms and conditions upon registration.

Exam locations will do their best to accommodate those with special requirements. The nature and degree of these requirements must be noted on the registration form and confirmed by an attestation of a doctor. The exam locations must also be able to respect confidentiality and keep it.

If students are scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they must contact their instructor or department to schedule a retake test. It is possible to take three exams on the same day. However, this can lead to a high level of stress and can affect the quality of the exam. The instructor may not be able to give an opportunity to take a makeup test on a different day.

Before taking the exam, students must prepare by studying the syllabus and practice their German skills. The test is a written test that measures your ability to read, speak, and write German. The exam results are reported on a scale of A1 to C2. Students who pass the exam receive the Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies that the student has achieved language level A1. This level corresponds with the first level of the six-level scale of competence set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free. Students must bring a valid government issued ID to the test. Those without a valid photo identification will be disqualified.

Fees
